About me
My name is Derek, based out of Denver, CO. I grew up in the Mile High City and have enjoyed music all my life (who hasn't?), during which time I started learning music in grade school, and continue to do so to this day. Along the way I played in multiple bands as a young adult. Along with many musicians, the love for music recording and production came into play. I still love to jam with my musician friends, and my passion lies in all forms of creation. This includes the beats that you hear on this page.
The content
Most of the beats you hear are generated from the common softwares and virtual instruments used in modern song production. I try to stay away from sampling (except for drum sounds, of course), and only apply what music theory knowledge I have (and continue to keep learning.)
